View and Accept ‘Draft’ Quotes

A new option is available in Sales Settings to allow quotes that are in the “Draft” status to be viewed and accepted without the need for Admin approval (if Automated Quote Approvals is enabled). By default, this setting is not enabled.

Automated Quote Approvals

Enhance profitability and improve compliance with your pricing strategy by creating powerful workflow rules to require Admin approval for quotes that meet customizable approval criteria based on quotes, quote line items or the user who created the quote. Set up notifications for requested approvals and approved quotes. The following criteria are available to create Automated Quote Approvals rules on:

  • Total quote value
  • Quote line-item discount value or percentage
  • Quote line-item margin and total quote discount
  • Quotes created by a specified user

Quote Auto-Save

Prevent data loss while editing quotes and focus more on building solutions for your customers. Kaseya Quote Manager now automatically saves changes made to quotes periodically, so you never lose your work. Quotes are saved 15 seconds after significant changes are made to the quote, ensuring that changes are promptly stored in the cloud.

Terms & Conditions Versioning

Leave no room for questions about the conditions of sale. To provide an accurate audit trail, Kaseya Quote Manager now tracks which version of your Terms & Conditions was displayed to the contact when they accepted the quote. As your business evolves, your Terms & Conditions may change. Now you can easily see which version was live when historical quotes were accepted.

Add Team Member Images

Personalize your experience with team profile pictures. Admins can now upload profile pictures to their team members’ profiles — perfect for ensuring everyone is on brand with professional headshots.

Supplier Feeds

ALSO and EET are now supported vendors in EU. Simply select the supplier and import your custom price feeds to utilize the integration

Disable Web Crawlers

Depending on your needs, you may wish to prevent strangers from finding your storefront on search engines. Checking “disable web crawlers on this site” will prevent search engines like Google or Bing from finding your storefront, requiring visitors to navigate directly to your site.

Delete Error Logs

Reduce confusion on which sync errors you have addressed by deleting error notifications for Autotask, ConnectWise or QuickBooks.

Automatic User Deprovisioning

Kaseya Quote Manager now supports user deprovisioning with KaseyaOne. With this setting enabled, you no longer have to worry about navigating to each module to remove user access when they leave the organization.

You can now display currency values in Danish Krone throughout the application.

Microsoft Teams Integration

Improve responsiveness and reduce quote turnaround time by receiving instant alerts to Teams channels based on quote and sales order alerts. Connect a Microsoft Teams channel to Kaseya Quote Manager to receive alerts when a quote is signed, allowing you to share the success with your colleagues immediately. Additionally, set up a separate Teams channel for your procurement team to receive notifications when a sales order requires approval. Sync Manufacturer Part Number to Autotask

You can now select whether you would like the Product Title or the Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) to sync to the Autotask Product Title field. If you use QuickBooks with Autotask, you may have noticed there is a character limit when syncing Products to Quickbooks, causing long Product Names to be truncated in Quickbooks. To prevent this, you can now push the shorter MPN to the Product Title field, which in turn will sync to Quickbooks. You can continue to sync the Product Name or change your settings to sync the MPN.

Domain Name Change

To align with the rebranding of Datto Commerce to Kaseya Quote Manager, we will be updating the default domain name used for Kaseya Quote Manager tenants from mydattocommerce.com to mykaseyaquotemanager.com. This change will not impact any custom domains configured (For example, store.mycompany.com).

If you access Kaseya Quote Manager using a URL like < company >.mydattocommerce.com, you will notice a change in behavior starting February 1, 2024. Existing URLs associated with the mydattocommerce.com domain name will automatically redirect to mykaseyaquotemanager.com. There is no action required, your existing URLs will continue to work, and going forward, links generated by Kaseya Quote Manager will use the mykaseyaquotemanager.com domain.

However, depending on your setup, you may need to update web and email filtering to ensure that your team and potential customers are able to access the domain .mykaseyaquotemanager.com.

Terms of Service Checkbox

Reduce awkward conversations and misunderstandings and provide extra assurance that your customers understand the Terms of Service related to accepting your quote by requiring them to check a box to explicitly acknowledge your Terms of Service. With this feature, customers will not be able to proceed with quote acceptance until the box is checked.

KaseyaOne Unified Login Updates

KaseyaOne is your single destination for everything Kaseya and includes user management for all your Kaseya products. With this update, users who are provided access to Kaseya Quote Manager in KaseyaOne will be automatically provisioned with a default role in Kaseya Quote Manager when they first access the application. In addition, you can now require all Kaseya Quote Manager users to authenticate through KaseyaOne Unified Login only.

Automated Quote Reminders

As email volume continues to grow, it’s easy for a quote to get buried in your customer’s inbox. Keep your proposals top of mind and improve quote acceptance rate and speed by bumping your quote to the top of your customer’s inbox with automated email reminders. In addition to shortening sales cycles, you can reduce quote re-work by sending reminders for a set number of days before the quote expires. The reminder emails can be customized to match your brand and include dynamic tag fields to add content related to the quote.

The following automated reminders are now available:

  • A reminder that a quote is expiring in X number of days, where X is a value between 1 and 6.
  • A reminder that a quote has not been opened or viewed in X number of days, where X is a value between 1 and 7.

Quote Unitrends Backup Solutions

Additional Kaseya product lines have been added to Kaseya Quote Manager. You can now easily quote and procure a wide range of Unitrends Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions, like Unitrends Endpoint Backup for PCs/Servers, Unitrends DRaaS, Forever Cloud, Ransomware Recovery and other Recovery Series Appliance subscriptions, through Kaseya Quote Manager. Kaseya Quote Manager is the only automated quoting tool for Unitrends backup solutions.

UI Enhancements

You will notice a new look and feel for Kaseya Quote Manager. In an effort to provide a familiar navigation, look and feel, all Kaseya modules are adopting common UI and UX elements. In this update, you will notice slight changes to input fields, tooltips, dropdown menus, breadcrumbs and date pickers.
